I’ve been sipping on a vodka soda for the last hour and getting distracted by re-runs of the Graham Norton show, which partly explains why it’s taken me so long to post this up. Oh yeah, wattup, that’s me in the AUT Rookie Show, just casually. I was glad to be walking in it, but I also wish I could have just watched from the audience too, it seemed like it’d be a fun show to observe with so many different styles on show.
Yep, what of it?
WHAT ELSE THO? WHAT’S RILLY GOOD THO?
Spasifik Magazine did a feature on me, which you can view on their website here, you can also buy the magazine at all good retailers. Word on the street is you can grab a copy at Mangere Pak’N'Save. w00p!
You know what else is rilly good? Food. And dranks. Specifically iced coffee and chocolate from The Fridge in Kingsland – especially when the lovely staff decide to sprinkle pink edible glitter over your whipped cream, just cos.
After lunching by myself at Little & Friday on the weekend, I grabbed a couple of cream donuts and this rhubarb tart for afternoon tea for my parents and nephews. Shit was gooood.
Did any of youse check out Art in the Dark on Friday or Saturday? The Halo was my fave art installation, very pretty and eye-catching. I also got a bit carried away playing on those colourful rainbow pipe thingys and almost knocked a kid out by flinging a bunch of pipes in his direction. Sorry, Lani is not for the children.
Back to the AUT show, they gave me a kinda faux fringe hairstyle, and it got me seriously thinking about wanting a fringe again. Hmmm.
Lastly, the below tweet from the bf, warmed the cockles of my heart. Bless.
