Food Loving – Avocado & Fresh Berries


So yeah, pretty much as soon as I realised I couldn’t fit my jeans anymore I decided to start eating healthier, which honestly is SO. BORING. I just wanna eat a bag of lollies and a pie a day and still fit my jeans man, is that too much to ask? My ass says ‘yes, Lani, that is too much to ask.’ And I’m all, ‘WTF since when could you talk, ass’? Lolz. Such a lame joke. But forreals though, I walked through the confectionery aisle today and almost cried cause I wanted it allllll. So, I have been replacing lollies with ‘natures candy’, i.e berries. Truthfully, I almost never buy raspberries and blackberries because they’re mad expensive, but today I treated myself and bro, I cannot overstate how great fresh raspberries are. Mostly, I just cut up a couple of bananas and chuck in a bunch of blueberries, which are still pricey but not as bad as the other berries, and mix it up with some yogurt. Avocados with heaps of cracked pepper is something I can’t seem to get enough of. I usually have it on the side with a plate of scrambled eggs, but today I needed toast. Mmmmm bread. I also added a few chilli flakes to the avo for an extra lil kick.

    You might like frozen blueberries or boysenberries. Put a serve in the fridge overnight and in the morning they’ve defrosted and sitting in sweet, sweet juice. Great over natural Greek yoghurt. Mmmmm…. Sooo good.

    Berries are THE BEST! I have it with yogurt and a sprinkle of muesli on top for a little extra texture – creamy, juicy and crunchy… mmmm. Frozen peas and corn are a good snack too – totes baby food but it’s good for you and delish!

    Berries are the bomb! I LOOOOVE raspberries straight from the freezer like a ice block but better and im hoping healthier lol 😀
